Tim Crook is a principal investigator in an international research project which is trialling the use of a new implant for thumb arthritis.
Tim is one of only three UK hand surgeons involved in a study based in the US and UK investigating the use of a new innovative treatment for thumb arthritis. The GRIP 2 study is evaluating the benefit of the Cartiva implant, which is hoped will demonstrate significant advantages of current accepted surgical treatment options.
